The short version

The main points of the Partner Terms, in plain words, shown before you submit your application. You run your own business. You start every job with the customer's code, charge only what the app shows, and never take a Jhatpat customer off the app. You are responsible for what you and anyone you send do, and for loss or harm you cause. Theft, violence or harassment means removal and a police complaint. Ticking this records your mobile number, the date and time, and this version.

One of the thirteen Jhatpat policies that form part of the Terms of Service. The same text is shown inside the app (Account → Legal & policies) and on our Google Play listing.

# Partner Rules and Agreement

This is version 1.0, effective 26 September 2026.

These are the main points of the Partner Terms, written plainly. They are a summary and not a replacement: where this page and the Partner Terms differ, the Partner Terms decide. Read them with the Safety policy and the Partner Privacy Notice.

Some sections below apply only to some partners — a team, a shop, work with children or elders, licensed work, or driving. Every section is published here for everyone, marked with who it applies to, so that one version of this page means the same thing for every partner who has ever ticked it. What you saw on your screen was this text.

You run your own business

You are an independent partner, not a Jhatpat employee. You choose your hours, your area and the jobs you take, and you may work elsewhere at the same time.

You are responsible for your own tools, vehicles, insurance, taxes and licences.

On every job

  • Start the job only after entering the customer's 4-digit start code at their door.
  • Do the booked work, follow the checklist, and get the customer's approval in the app before

any extra work, part or charge.

  • Charge only the price shown in the app. Take cash only when the app says so. Tips also go

through the app.

  • Wear your Jhatpat ID. Keep the customer's home, belongings and details safe.
  • You may refuse any job that is unsafe or illegal. You are never penalised for refusing one.

Never

  • Steal, harass, threaten, abuse, or touch anyone without consent. **No work while drunk or on

drugs.**

  • Take photographs without permission, keep a customer's number or address, or contact a customer

outside the app.

  • Take a customer you met through Jhatpat for private work — while you work with Jhatpat and for

12 months after.

  • Send someone else in your place, or share your login.

If you work with children or elders: follow the guardian's instructions. Never take them out, give medicine, or photograph them. Hand over only to the adult named in the booking.

If you have a team: never send anyone Jhatpat has not verified.

What you are responsible for

You are responsible for what you do, and for what anyone you send does.

If you cause loss, damage, theft or harm, you pay for it, and you protect Jhatpat (Yurix Ventures Private Limited) from any claim that arises from it.

  • If you have a team: you are fully responsible for the conduct and compliance of every person

and every vehicle you list.

  • If you have a shop: you are responsible for what you sell or provide — quality, price,

expiry and licences.

  • If your work is licensed (security, insurance, medicines, pest control, e-waste, locksmith):

you work only within a valid licence that Jhatpat has checked. The work stops the day the licence expires.

  • If you drive: keep your licence, registration, insurance and permits valid, follow traffic

rules, and pay your own challans.

Keep records of your jobs and licences — and, if you have a team, of your staff and vehicles — for 3 years.

If something goes wrong

  • Late cancellations and no-shows carry penalties. The amount is shown in the app before it

applies.

  • Jhatpat may pause your account immediately for a safety complaint, fraud, an expired

document, or dealing outside the app. You can explain to the Grievance Officer within 7 days, and the Grievance policy says how.

  • Theft, violence or harassment means removal and a police complaint. Jhatpat shares your

details with the police or a court when the law requires it, as set out in the Partner Privacy Notice.

  • Disputes go first to the Grievance Officer, and then to arbitration in Lucknow.

What ticking the box records

When you tick "I have read and agree", Jhatpat records your mobile number, the date and time, and this version of this page. Nothing else is recorded by that tick.

It is kept so that both of us can say later exactly what was agreed and when. If this page changes, the new version is a new agreement — an earlier tick is not moved to it.

You are agreeing to the Partner Terms, the Safety policy and the Partner Privacy Notice. The customer-facing Terms of Service explain what customers are promised.
