FAQs

Parcel Pickup & Delivery, answered.

How much does Parcel Pickup & Delivery cost?

You name your price in the Jhatpat app; local partners accept it or send theirs, and you pick. You see the full scope before you confirm.

What is included in Parcel Pickup & Delivery?

Pickup and drop anywhere within city limits; Up to 5 kg / 40 cm box; Live tracking and handover photo; OTP at delivery on request. Not included: Inter-city shipping; Cash, jewellery, restricted items; Fragile items without your own packing.

How do I book Parcel Pickup & Delivery?

Open the Jhatpat app, choose Parcel Pickup & Delivery, pick instant or a slot, and confirm.

When do I pay?

After the work, you pay your partner directly — in cash or by UPI to their own UPI ID. Jhatpat never takes payment from you. The app shows the exact amount first: the agreed price, any extra work you approved in the app, waiting charges and coupons. Once you have paid, confirm it in the app. Rides, courier and moves are estimated by distance and settled on the actual route. Scrap pickups pay you. There are no hidden charges.

Where is Jhatpat available?

We open one city at a time, neighbourhood by neighbourhood — Ranchi, Lucknow, Dhanbad and Varanasi are on the way. The app shows exactly what is live at your address, and you can ask for your city at [email protected].

Are partners verified?

Yes. Every partner completes government-ID and address verification plus a live selfie check, and a training session before their first job. Jobs start only with a 4-digit code from you, and every booking has in-app support.
